Love Poem: Missing You

63

By stricktlydating

This is not a sad poem about missing someone, but rather, a daydream, remembering the intimate essence of someone from a past relationship. An intimate memory of a lover.

I closed my eyes

(And it must have been a dream)

You lay here beside me

I snuggled in, skin touching skin

And warmed you with a kiss

My hand ran softly

Down your back

Your breath,

Against my cheek

Still fast asleep

You didn't seem to notice

I kissed your neck

And down your chest

Your body

Felt so warm

I could have sworn

That you were really here

O Wow I'm Not Gonna Lie. I Seriously Felt Something Stir In My Heart When I Read The Last 2 Lines Of This Poem. Anything that can move this heart o' mine is something worth praising. Its short but sweet. I like It. Good Stuff.
