Poem: He Can't Promise A Relationship
62When dating, sometimes it feels like the guy says the wrong things at the wrong times. And it can really throw you off your guard, even floor you! This is a poem about one such time...
He says he'll see me again
Thought he "Can't promise a relationship"
This is after a cosy meal
And love-making.
With his bad timing
I just say "Okay"
But I wonder what he means
Aren't we already in a relationship?
I dare not ask him now
Maybe he's feeling worried
Who knows why he threw that in
I say goodnight - and roll over.

It never works -longterm- to ask someone to commit. You are either ready or not. Most of the time the more you press someone to commit, the more he feels haunted and will escape. I found that not commmiting to a relationship is the best way to have him at your feet wanting to commit... crazy!
