Short Love Poem: Too Afraid To Say

This is a short poem about wanting to share feelings and move forward from being in a non-committed relationship; where one person has fallen in love and, at least at this stage, is too afraid to say because of not knowing if the other person feels the same...

TOO AFRAID TO SAY

I know you'll do what you will do

And I have no say

But every time I see you

I love you anyway

I'm much too shy to say it

I wonder, can you tell?

I'm quietly tossing coins

Into the wishing well
